Product Description

The triquetra is one of the basis of all designs in Celtic culture. As a symbol for the trinity, often associated as a variation of the Tri-skell, it depicts the three forces of nature that the Celts believed existed: earth, air and water. Later on it was additionally given Christian association, and can be found in many Celtic Crosses. Found in all Celtic Nations, this was one of the first knots associated with the term "infinity knot", as it is composed of a single line forming all three parts. This piece was carved to be three-dimensional.
