Cladda Pendant

The Claddagh is a traditional Irish friendship/wedding ring symbolizing "the person who holds and governs your heart." This pendant is to be given by the person who holds and governs your heart - and lies above your own as a symbol of friendship or love. It is said that when worn it promotes unity between two people. The various parts of the ring also carry significance: the hands represent friendship, the heart; love and the crown; loyalty. This pendant is carved on both sides and is open in the center - so that if it flips around, it can still be read.
